Bedford Film Society

Welcome to the Bedford Film Society which has been in existence since 1949, offering the people of Bedford and surrounding areas the chance to see some of the finer films of world cinema in a relaxing and appreciative atmosphere.

Our programme provides a selection of recent releases selected by our membership. We normally show a season of about 20 films from September to March.

Our success is due to the loyalty and enthusiasm of our members. We are always pleased to see our friends returning as members, and we are delighted to welcome new members of all ages to the club. You can become an annual member to see all films in the season. Alternativey, you can just show up at each screening and pay at the door for an individual ticket.

Film projection is by DVD using original dialogue with subtitles for the foreign films.

Our venue is the 280 capacity Theatre at the University of Bedfordshire's Polhill Campus in Bedford - Polhill Avenue MK41 9EA. There is plenty of free parking is available on site.
