Cranborne Chase National Landscape

Cranborne Chase National Landscape is a place considered so precious it is protected for the nation. The primary purpose of the National Landscape designation is to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the area, now and for future generations.

Cranborne Chase National Landscape is 380 sq miles of countryside overlapping the boundaries of Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset.

The Chase and Chalke Landscape Partnership Scheme, a National Lottery Heritage Fund Scheme of 20 projects within Cranborne Chase, covers the Chalke Valley and historic Chase to the south of it.

The Cranborne Chase National Landscape and Chase & Chalke Landscape Partnership Scheme a variety of events from walks and training workshops, to craft and arts activities, dark night sky events to music and theatrical performances, all designed to educate and enthuse people about this stunning area.
