Friends of Centre for Midlands History & Cultures

The Centre for West Midlands History was founded at the University of Birmingham to create a forum for study and research into the history of the region. The Centre runs a MA in West Midlands History, an annual conference, monthly seminars and other public events. It supports the work and projects of independent scholars, research students and heritage professionals in the wider community. The Friends are involved in the work of the Centre and the promotion of regional and local history.
