Ladies in Pursuit targets individuals and families in distress internationally. Throughout the years we have serviced over 10,000 individuals and families and donated over 200k in net worth. We have partnered with Women and Children in Distress, The Covenant House Inc and Kids in Distress Inc as well. Some of our corporate sponsors include: Marshalls, TORRID + TORRID Foundation, 5 Below, Publix Supermarkets, Broward College & University, Carl’s Seafood, Classy Beauty Supply and Target amongst many others.
Some of our services include, mentorship, employment resources, health resources and referral, scholarships, internships, volunteer + voluntourism, mental health resources, foster families nationwide, The Armoire of which is a hidden closet in the city we have for individuals that do not have the money to purchase professional and formal attire; we sponsor their outfit, makeup and hair to prepare for their occasions. We also have annual Mission trips, back to school events, Christmas events, Teacher’s Appreciation, Mental Health Summits and other projects for improving the community throughout.
One of our main annual events would be out Mission trip to Puerto Rico. We are connected with a Battered Women’s shelter of which we assist with first aide, PPE supplies, clothing, art therapy and women’s empowerment events. We have expanded our aide with now assisting a nursing home, homeless shelter and school with resources while on our mission trips. This year we transported 600lbs of relief aide to these shelters.
Throughout COVID 19 we shipped supplies across the nation and seas to individuals, families, teachers and students in need. Our foster families both locally and abroad we have sent groceries and resources to stay afloat. Included in this email is just a few of our events we have completed in the past 2 years. --- yes, just 2 years.
Our plan is to leave our footprint internationally and especially here locally in South Florida first. We are the anomaly and exemplify the change we wish to see in the world.
