We've set up this networking event to help get people together and to make films. We are Gavin, Rob, and Andrew.

Let’s Make Films. It’s a simple idea. Gather a bunch of like-minds and create a network of people who want to;

1. Make film.

2. Learn how to make better films.

Whether you are working on a zero budget “run-n-gun”, or a multi-million-dollar epic while harbouring those hidden desires to make your own visions, you’ll fit in.

Regular gatherings will bring together a number of opportunities for filmmakers. One of our key aims is to help support better practice in filmmaking. There will be the opportunities for free "taster" events. These may then lead to demo's, masterclasses, and workshops either via us, or via people and companies we know. The aim is to learn about multiple aspects of filmmaking, even if you specialise in one. Plus ... Make some films.

Many of us/you will have made a short film, documentary, or been involved with a feature. We all know there is a need to make networks and find crews. Networking is key in the industry, be that pre-production or distribution and marketing, so come along in the confidence that you’ll be with like minds. Taster sessions are aimed to be presentations about higher end techniques that may allow you to improve your production values. Equally it might help you communicate or understand a multi-departmental work flow. Most will have pointers to further training opportunities for those with greater interest in the subject.
