Little Acorns Bookstore (Derry)

Solo-led, Little Acorns Bookstore has been trading since 2011 having grown from 100 books on a 6ft table to a three-storey Georgian building (once a family home) with over 70,000 books (new and used) over two floors. Awards include An Post Irish Bookshop of the Year 2024; British Book Awards County Finalist from 2022 to 2025; North-West Business Awards Retailer of the Year 2024 and Overall Entrepreneur of the Year 2022; Derry Journal Business Person of the Year Finalist 2022; The Bookseller Magazine Bookshop Hero of the Year 2022; and Families First N Ireland Business of the Year 2022.
