Living Without Abuse (LWA)

LWA are a specialist charity who provide support to anyone suffering from domestic abuse and/or sexual violence across the Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland areas. LWA have been providing domestic abuse services since 1977 and we believe that all people have the right to live safely and without fear of violence and abuse. It is this belief that fuels our commitment to raising awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence, work towards its prevention and eradication, and drives our passion to support and empower those affected by this crime. LWA offers a range of training around domestic abuse and sexual violence. The aim of our training is to facilitate the development and enhance the skills of individuals who may come across domestic abuse and/or sexual violence in their workplace, or those who may want to enhance their knowledge in this area. Our dedicated training team have a range of relevant qualifications, years of experience of delivering and developing training, and extensive experience of front-line work with victim-survivors of abuse. Our trainers bring a diverse range of skills and specialisms, which ensures that we continually develop and deliver the highest quality training.
