Stephanie Sommet is a highly experienced and acclaimed ceramicist with over 15 years of expertise.

Paris-born, with a background in architecture, in 2014 she ventured to London, where she established her one-of-a-kind ceramic design studio.

This year the studio was chosen for sponsorship by prominent brands IKEA and H&M, as part of Atelier 100—a program that champions London's most exciting creatives.

Stephanie's approach to ceramics is driven by playful experimentation, a philosophy that has significantly influenced her collaborations and projects. Her renown within the arts and ceramics industry stems from her unique understanding of the medium.

She has undertaken projects in collaboration with distinguished artists and renowned institutions such as the Whitechapel Gallery, Ace Hotel, Bankside Hotel, and The Shard, to name just a few.

Today, Stephanie shares her passion and expertise, not only through her own creative work but also by teaching. Her vision is embodied by the brand Maison S. Sommet.
