Make Your Mark

The Make Your Mark campaign aims to increase the number and diversity of heritage volunteers in Scotland. The campaign is the connecting link between volunteers and organisations in the heritage sector, with a focus on supporting and increasing volunteering amongst underrepresented groups.

Any heritage organisation in Scotland can join Make Your Mark for free by signing our Expression of Commitment. We ascribe to wide definition of 'heritage' - heritage is anything from the past or present that you value and want to pass on to future generations, such as historic buildings; natural habitats and landscapes; oral history, recipes, dances, dialects and other cultural traditions; archaeological finds; museum, libraries and archives; commemorations, celebrations and folklore.
