About the Trainer - Walé Oladipo
Walé Oladipo serves as the Director and lead trainer of MindBody Breakthrough Ltd, an organisation dedicated to public mental health and professional development. With over 17 years of experience in psychotherapeutic practice, Walé specialises in anxiety-related disorders, trauma, and emotional regulation.
Originally from Nigeria, where he encountered personal trauma including psychological distress caused by food insecurity, Walé is grateful to be in a position where he can now help others with mental health challenges.
Leveraging his master’s degree in Mental Health Science, ongoing research, and professional training in counselling and psychotherapy, Walé has a unique knack of developing mental health recovery models and interventions based on cutting-edge scientific research that are effective and easy to apply.
As the author of over 10 books on mental health, Walé's recovery models—such as the T.R.A.U.M.A. model, the F.E.A.R. model, the S.T.R.E.S.S. model, the W.O.R.R.Y. model, the S.A.D.N.E.S.S. model, the A.D.R. model, the O.C.D. model, and the O.S.L.A.C. model—are utilized in more than thirty countries worldwide by professionals, organisations, and individuals seeking recovery.
Founded by Walé in 2010, MindBody Breakthrough has trained over 30,000 individuals, collaborating with corporations, educational institutions, local councils, NGOs, and training providers. The organisation prioritises psychoeducation to foster self-awareness, compassion, and wellness by helping individuals understand their mind, emotions, and physical expressions. This approach aims to diminish self-blame and shame linked to mental health issues.
Walé holds a professional membership with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and his workshops are quality-checked by this same body.
