North East Culture Collective

The North East Culture Collective (NECC) is a Cultural Aberdeen project, led, by Station House Media Unit (shmu) and funded by Creative Scotland.

The NECC is part of a national Culture Collective network of 26 projects all exploring creative partnership projects with communities as part of the national Covid Recovery programme. Our programme will run until March 2024 and will provide an opportunity to explore and test new models of cultural engagement and participation across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

We are nearing the end of the scoping phase of the project and are now looking to engage the services of a team of creative practitioners who will play an essential role in working with community groups, to shape and inform collective recovery, exploring and expanding the positive role that arts and culture plays in society.
