The Raleigh Community Development Corporation (RCDC) is a nonprofit Economic and Community Improvement Collaborative (ECIC) dedicated to transforming the Mid-South through equity-focused revitalization. Founded in 2002, RCDC has led with purpose to strengthen the health, stability, and prosperity of Raleigh-Frayser and surrounding neighborhoods by addressing the root causes of poverty and advancing long-term community well-being.With a strategic focus on economic empowerment, workforce development, and trauma-informed care, we partner with organizations, residents, and civic leaders to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions. Our mission prioritizes service to low- to moderate-income individuals, seniors, youth, and those with physical challenges, ensuring that the most vulnerable have a voice and a path forward.Through education, civic engagement, and collaborative partnerships, RCDC creates innovative, community-driven programs that combat the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and expand opportunity. Our work is guided by one simple belief: strong communities are built through shared leadership, equitable access, and empowered people.
