Sally Bonnie (Sally Bonnie Fibre n Art )
I’m Sally, a needle felting artist, teacher, and community builder originally from Manchester and now rooted in the inspiring landscapes of the Lake District. I am a member of the International Felt-makers Association and began sharing my skills through free workshops, newsletters and workbook downloads - I love it! After dedicating years to supporting others through charity work, coaching, and teaching – especially empowering women – I’ve come full circle back to my creative roots. Reconnecting with the incredible women from Inspire Women Oldham reignited my love for making, and now I create unique, eco-friendly pieces from UK wool and fibre while sharing my passion through teaching and storytelling. I continue to learn and challenge myself, sharing this very special connection I have that fills my heart and my mind with peace. My hope is that through my work you will find this connection too.
As my creative journey evolved, I sought ways to merge my coaching and teaching experience with my growing expertise in fiber art. That's how Sally Bonnie Fibre Art came to life! This journey has transformed me from feeling "not good enough" to confidently sharing my felting techniques through online teaching, my "Be Brave Be Creative Private Group," my free Seasonal Newsletter and more recently my kit collaborations with ethical UK wool producers.
I am dedicated to supporting sustainable crafting practices and working with UK wool, particularly from rare and heritage breeds. I collaborate with wool producers who uphold farm-to-fleece/yarn practices and preserve traditional methods through my mixed media needle felted creations
I look forward to you joining me on this journey!
Best wishes Sally x
