Sarah Elder Nutrition
Sarah is a Registered Dietitian with the HCPC. She began her studies at Leeds University in 2006 studying Food Studies and Nutrition. She followed her interest in the area of human nutrition and completed a post graduate Degree at Leeds Beckett University in Nutrition and Dietetics and converted this into a Master’s Degree in Nutrition.
Sarah has spoken at numerous conferences and study days including The International Eating Disorders Conference and British Dietetic Association training days and events. She works privately at the Rhitrition clinic, as a Clinical Associate Trainer for BEAT the UK’s eating Disorders charity and has over 9 years of experience working into Mental Health and Eating disorders teams within the NHS
Over recent years she has volunteered as Public Relations Officer for the British Dietetic Association Mental Health Specialist Group where she has written, commented on and peer reviewed numerous national nutrition documents. Sarah regularly contributes to national news media stories on Nutrition to ensure that evidence based nutritional advice is published in the media.
Sarah works with her clients to support them to navigate the complex world of nutrition and develop a healthier relationship with food. Sarah uses her Instagram platform @saraheldernutrition to promote the importance of looking after your mental health, wellbeing and nutritional health.
