The Wild Hare & Singing Armadillo Frog Sanctuary

The Wild Hare & Singing Armadillo Frog Sanctuary has been “Reggae Capital USA” for 45 years and running.

Originally located a block south of Wrigley Field, then later at 2610 N Halsted in Lincoln Park Chicago, The Wild Hare has since May 2025 moved to its new location at 950 W. Fulton Street (with the entrance around the back alley off Morgan St) in the heart of the dynamic & rapidly growing Fulton Market district.

 Live reggae and world beat in all its forms from all over the world is our passion and our crowds of long-time friends and new enthusiasts reflect the wonderful diversity that reggae and world beat music brings out. 

 We feature local, regional and international DJs and live music performances nightly Thursday through Sunday.  The Wild Hare produces events on two levels of the building - the lower level club and The Rooftop featuring the mighty Wild Hare Sound System.

Private Parties can be accommodated many evenings ( please email  info@wildharemusic.com for details) for groups of 10 to 200 guests.
