Tonia Gunstone

Tonia Gunstone is a Wiltshire-based abstract artist and teacher inspired by wild places. Her work explores our connection to place and is intrinsically bound up in landscape. She works from her studio on top of a windy hill that borders three counties. Walking is an important part of her practice, as is drawing, painting, printmaking and ink-making. Tonia has been teaching for many years, mostly in comprehensive secondary schools. Her workshops, like her practice, are varied, skills-based and rewarding. She strongly believes in the power of creativity.
