The University of Portsmouth Students' Union will process the data provided by you in your legitimate interest to provide you with the services you require and send you further information about our events that might be relevant to you. We take data protection very seriously we only use the information you provide during the purchase of tickets on this platform to distribute electronic tickets and physical assets, validate and confirm your attendance, communicate essential information pertaining to the event, send you information relating to similar events that might be of interest and to undertake analysis to further our service provision. Where your Student ID is required; the data made available by the University of Portsmouth as part of our student records will be used for statistical and recording of sale purposes. Eventbrite store and process the data provided to enable the provision of the ticket sales system.

Please be aware that whilst we are hoping to deliver a programme of in person Welcome events in the new year, we are bound by the ever changing coronavirus guidance. We are creating contingency plans to try and ensure our events go ahead even in the event of further restrictions being implemented, however we cannot guarantee they will all be permitted under government guidance by the time we return for teaching block two.
As standard, all of our events will have additional covid control measures in place, including mandatory face coverings, regular hand sanitiser points, and some will have one way systems in place, or number restrictions depending on their location.
Please be aware though, that plans may change at the last minute due to situations out of our control, so please keep an eye on your emails for any updates/changes, which we will communicate to you with as much notice as we can if required
