Wakefield District Cycle Forum

We introduce new or rusty riders to the fun of cycling, with a programme of graded guided rides. Start with easy, largely off-road trails, progress through longer rides and then try our strenuous road rides with further to travel before the first essential refreshment stop.

We don’t just talk, we act. Our working parties lay new routes and clear existing ones. We are an advocate for local cyclists, promoting new routes, linking existing ones and challenging the obstruction of cycle routes.

We organise many FREE events, including cycle skills courses, Bike Doctor sessions, Basic Bicycle Maintenance Days and information stalls.
