Wanda Bamberg Tia, best known as WandaWoman, CEO of WandaWoman Enterprises, LLC s is a fitness expert with over 42 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. WandaWoman is a dancer, certified Pilates mat and reformer trainer, choreographer, and the creator of the “Wanda Woman Dance Workout” (a fusion of dance and fitness.) She’s the recipient of the 2019 Ms. Unstoppable Award as a “Health and Wellness Pioneer” Mrs. Bamberg Tia is, also a member of the Washington Wizard’s inaugural senior dance team, WIZDOM. Wanda’s motto is, “It’s never too late to get into shape and lead a healthier lifestyle.

Since 1980, she has taught and managed dance and group fitness classes and programs for health clubs, dance studios, corporations, government agencies, churches, and public and private middle/high schools in Washington, D.C. Wanda was the first African American woman to create and run her own dance/group fitness studio in the metropolitan D.C. area. She is former owner of Work It! Studio and recognized by the group Great Women of Washington DC for her dedication to community health and fitness. Her high-energy, dance-inspired classes continue strong. Her sought-after master classes have taken her throughout the world.

For 17 years, Wanda Woman has been featured at the NBC4’s Health and Fitness Expo. She has made appearances on FIT TV, Good Morning America, Home Team Sports, and NBC4's “Your Olympic Workout” series with anchorwoman Barbara Harrison. She has been featured in the Washington Post the People’s Choice for the “Best Fitness Leaders that People Follow” and numerous publications including Essence, Heart and Soul, NBC’s National online publications and a featured video for “AARP’s Disrupting Aging” series.

Wanda’s classes are filled with an eclectic following, she teaches the young and the young-at-heart. Her teaching techniques are infused with an infectious spirit and energy to keep bodies moving, hearts happy, and lifestyles healthy. Ms. Bamberg Tia has developed specialized fitness trainings for school age to university age students. She is also nationally sought out as a trainer and fitness consultant for senior citizen programs, fitness for the adults/children with mental illness, cancer recovery patients and for her training techniques for those seeking relief from or prevention of obesity, arthritis, diabetes, and heart disease.

Wanda’s commitment to the health and fitness of communities at-large has led to the creation of the Wanda Woman Foundation, whose mission is to bring health, fitness and education to women and marginalized communities.
