Women Acting In Today’s Society (W.A.I.T.S.) is a charity that aims to empower and support women to rebuild their lives. a multi-award-winning charity .

WAITS provides high quality support and interventions to women experience domestic abuse, and to female offenders who want to turn their lives around.

W.A.I.T.S. Services :

We offer 4 key services which aim to support women to achieve their goals, feel empowered and gain independence

• Women’s Refuge – supporting women who are fleeing from, or who are facing homelessness due to, domestic violence.

• The Domestic Abuse Service – supporting women who have experienced/are currently experiencing Domestic Abuse.

• The Community Integration Project (CIP) – supporting women who have offended in the past or who are at risk of offending/re-offending in the future to resettle.

WAITS provide a holistic service for women. including training, counselling and therapeutic workshops to support women to rebuild their lives
